This calculator helps growers, farmers and hydroponic gardeners quickly convert electrical conductivity (EC) values from mS/cm to µS/cm and PPM.

Electrical conductivity is commonly used to measure the concentration of nutrients in water or nutrient solutions.

1. Enter the EC value in mS/cm.

3. The calculator will show:

   • µS/cm (microsiemens per centimeter)

   • PPM (parts per million)

Extra informatie

Conversion used in this calculator

• 1 mS/cm = 1000 µS/cm

• PPM = µS/cm × 0.5

The 0.5 factor is one of the common standards used in agriculture and hydroponics (also known as the 500 scale).

Keep in mind that some systems use different conversion factors such as 0.64 or 0.7, depending on the measurement scale.
